Sam Maurer

Graduate Student Researcher

Sam is a PhD student in city planning at UC Berkeley, focusing on land use and urban analytics. He contributed to the gentrification and displacement research by helping refine Bay Area land use simulation models to better incorporate processes of residential displacement. Sam has a master's degree in public policy from Princeton University and a BA from Amherst College. Prior to graduate school he was a researcher at the Federal Reserve.
