Lina Gonzalez Botero is a research assistant and Master student at the Interdisciplinary Center for Development Studies (CIDER) of the Universidad de Los Andes. She is also architect and specialist in urban law, property and land policies from the Law School of the same university. Moreover, she is an urban planning and inclusionary housing consultant mainly focused on enhancing the quality of life of the urban poor.
The project aims to understand the nature of gentrification, displacement, and exclusion in American cities. It focuses on creating tools to help communities identify the pressures surrounding them and take more effective action.
