Alex Ramiller

Graduate Student Researcher

Alex Ramiller is a PhD student in City and Regional Planning. He is interested in using spatial data science to explore topics related to housing affordability, residential mobility, and property ownership in US cities. Previously, Alex has worked on several projects in this field, including the development of a residential displacement typology for the City of Seattle as well as The Evictions Study - a multidisciplinary research effort studying patterns of residential evictions at the neighborhood scale. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Economics from Macalester College and a Master's degree in Geography from the University of Washington.
