Carson Hartmann

Graduate Student Researcher

Carson Hartmann is a Master's in City Planning student at UC Berkeley. He comes to the Urban Displacement Project from the Research and Development department of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, where he used skills in spatial analysis and data visualization to conduct research on the historic and older building stocks of American cities. Prior to his time at the Trust, Carson worked at a series of housing and planning focused organizations in Seattle and Portland, and as a teacher at the Ramallah Friends School in the West Bank. Carson earned a BA in Geography from Middlebury College in 2013.
