Julian is a Master of City Planning candidate in the Department of City and Regional Planning. He was born and raised in San Francisco and developed a love of cities from a young age. Julian is committed to using participatory planning and community engagement to create equitable housing solutions to California's housing crisis and. Prior to graduate school, he spent three years working in fund development for a neighborhood services non-profit in Brooklyn, New York. He earned a BA in History with a minor in Politics from Oberlin College in 2013.
