Nicholas Depsky

Graduate Student Researcher

Nicholas Depsky is currently a 1st-year PhD student in the Energy & Resources Group whose research focus is on climate shocks and adaptation, specifically with respect to changing drought patterns and impacts in Central America.  His master's work in ERG was centered on multi-model climate projections of rainfall in the region and his doctoral work aims to connect these findings with socioeconomic outcomes on the ground, especially concerning migration and displacement.  He is presently contributing to the Urban Displacement Project's climate & displacement literature review as part of broader SPARCC initiative.
