Donna is a graduate student in both the Master of Public Health and Master of City Planning programs at UC Berkeley. She studies policies and demonstration projects that incentivize collaboration between health care organizations and institutions that address social determinants of health, such as transportation providers. Prior to graduate school, Donna led demonstration projects that integrated clinical and parks staff to create active living programs in park settings. She holds BAs in Ethnic Studies, Political Science, and American Studies from Brown University.
The project aims to understand the nature of gentrification, and displacement, and exclusion in American cities. It focuses on creating tools to help communities identify the pressures surrounding them and take more effective action.
