Dori is a Master of City Planning candidate in the Department of City and Regional Planning. Dori is passionate about housing policy; streamlining governmental functions; promoting socioeconomic and racial equity; and using tech to solve pressing planning issues. In addition to her work at CCI, Dori is a Planner and a Product Manager at Symbium, an early-stage startup. Before Berkeley, Dori was Planner II at the San Francisco Planning Department. She has 3.5 years of experience working in Planning Departments across Northern California. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Studies with Business minor from Cornell University.
The project aims to understand the nature of gentrification, and displacement, and exclusion in American cities. It focuses on creating tools to help communities identify the pressures surrounding them and take more effective action.
