Jeremy Halpern earned his BS in Civil Engineering at Northwestern University and is in the Transportation Dual Masters program for City Planning and Transportation Engineering at UC Berkeley. He is advised by Professor Emerita Betty Deakin and Professor Daniel Rodriguez while he studies bus rapid transit project delivery, travel demand modeling, and the development of emerging mobility partnerships to serve older adults and people with disabilities.
The project aims to understand the nature of gentrification, and displacement, and exclusion in American cities. It focuses on creating tools to help communities identify the pressures surrounding them and take more effective action.
