José López is a Master of City Planning candidate, concentrating in Environmental Planning & Healthy Cities and Transportation Planning. He has worked advancing equity as a community organizer and researcher. Jose holds a BS in Environmental Science from UC Berkeley. As a planner, he looks forward to continue promoting health equity for vulnerable residents. Jose finds comfort in cooking and spending time outdoors, in nature.
The project aims to understand the nature of gentrification, and displacement, and exclusion in American cities. It focuses on creating tools to help communities identify the pressures surrounding them and take more effective action.
