Natalie Koski-Karell is a Master of City Planning candidate at UC Berkeley. She holds a JD in environmental law and is currently focused on environmental planning & urban design. Respecting the fact that the planning of cities is a relational study of interdisciplinary and multidimensional factors, Natalie incorporates the skills and tools of a planner-lawyer-creative to analyze pressing issues of the day, including gentrification and displacement, to tell meaningful stories.
The project aims to understand the nature of gentrification, and displacement, and exclusion in American cities. It focuses on creating tools to help communities identify the pressures surrounding them and take more effective action.
