Sam Griffin has worked for the Terner Center for Housing Innovation studying the impacts of public housing revitalization on residents. Before attending UC Berkeley, Sam worked as a program coordinator at the St. Joseph Family Center, a family homeless shelter in San Francisco. He grew up in NW Washington, D.C. and currently lives in New Haven, CT.
The project aims to understand the nature of gentrification, and displacement, and exclusion in American cities. It focuses on creating tools to help communities identify the pressures surrounding them and take more effective action.
