Shayan is a sophomore at UC Berkeley studying Data Science and Computer Science with a minor in City and Regional Planning. He is passionate about equitable housing and access to transportation, and hopes to pursue a career working at the intersection of data science and social justice.
The project aims to understand the nature of gentrification, displacement, and exclusion in American cities. It focuses on creating tools to help communities identify the pressures surrounding them and take more effective action.
