Tera Johnson (she/her) is a Master of City Planning student at UC Berkeley seeking to amplify the strengths of Black and other people of color in planning processes. She is also co-founder of the art collective Two Photon, which uses art to communicate science, raise money and awareness about social issues, and support fellow minorities interested in STEM. Prior to Berkeley, Tera was a program associate at a climate adaptation non-profit and focused on training/capacity building.
The project aims to understand the nature of gentrification, and displacement, and exclusion in American cities. It focuses on creating tools to help communities identify the pressures surrounding them and take more effective action.
